I have been in search of information concerning the wood seller William Fourness. I do this for two very important reasons. First to try to get the word out about this seller to all the woodworkers out there. This seller has been online for some time now, and has used a number of different Id's, accounts, and email addresses. It can be difficult, at best, trying to keep track of them all.It is my hope that this page will assist you in making an educated choice when dealing with this seller. Second, as a testimonial to the search engine. It is unbelievable the amount of information listed in search engines like Google, Yahoo, or MSN. All the information given here is a product of online search engines.
Below, is a list of links. Most of the links provided contain information which shows the accounts belong or did belong to Mr. Fourness, or point to other accounts Mr. Fourness holds or has held. Interesting that this "new" storefront is also owned by someone living at the same address used as in other auctions and listings identified as belonging to Mr. Fourness, with the very same phone number listed for contacting the ID of pennsylvaniawwoods2008.- I have pages saved related to this, which are no longer public.- Curious it is as well, that the owner is claiming that their injuries and disabilities are "recent". So, unless Mr. Fourness moved from his residence, leaving it to a recently disabled individual with common interests, and ALSO left the phone turned on and with the same number...)

January 08 "weknowwood"? Hello, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Cncrndprsn07.
I have been researching the wood vendor, William Fourness, and trying to get the word out to other customers of this seller and potential customers of this seller. In earlier entries, links included guide you, the reader, to forums where other customers express their feelings on their transactions with William (Bill) Fourness. To be fair, there are customers who enjoyed their transaction with this seller. Not all of the feelings expressed were of a positive nature, though. In fact, there were a good number of customers who were very unhappy with the experience. I have included those links, as well as following links, which have similiar characteristics, in an effort to aide the woodworker- in general. Should you decide to buy from this seller, you now have a good idea what ID's, or screen names to contact. But, should you read this and decide to stear clear of this seller, now you have an idea what names you might want to investigate before commiting to.
I do this for two valuable reasons. First, to try to aide the woodworkers in their right to make an educated decision. These days, one cannot rely on a feedback score alone. The second, is to show everyone what a wonderful tool search engines like Google, Yahoo, or MSN can really be. There is a vast number of entries on such a wide range of entities. And it's free. So, why not protect yourself, and research as completely as possible a thing, before stepping to it?
Last month we found a new seller with the ID of "weknowwood" on Ebay.
"I then decided to take a look on ebay, to see if the seller could be active there, as it has been said they have sold product there before, in the past. In the general search bars at the top of the page, I entered woodworking, and crafts. I then, used the search bar on the far left of the page. Here I checked the US Only option, and set the search limits for within 10 miles of the zip code- 16743. The zip code given in the past from the vendor. I was able to find a brand new seller going by the name of "weknowwood".
Not much information is given here. This seller is from Port Allegany, Pa. The pictures of the product are rather grainy when enlarged, losing much in the way of detail, but the thumbnails appear similiar to others in the past. Could this be a brand new seller from Port Allegany, Pa..?, or a new account for the seller we have been reviewing?"
This is what we found in last months entry. Not much information to go on, but I have found more information which may be pertinent.

Hello. For those of you who are new here, please allow me to explain what is going on. My name is Cncrndprsn07 and I have been researching the many names and faces of the woodworking/ woodturning supply vendor- William Fourness. I have been in this pursuit for two reasons. One to help all the woodworkers out there with their right to make an educated decision, and two, to assist others in learning how to use our wonderful search engines in learning more about a person, business, or organization. It is unbelievable the amount of information one can find, just by doing some Googling or searching on Yahoo or MSN. Just look at all the information we have been able to find on the vendor we are researching.
Let us continue that search now, as I believe I may have found new developments.
First, let us recap quickly. In the previous two entries, we found that it is highly possible for this seller to have gone by a number of different screen-names, they could possibly own a number of emails, and could be doing business in a number of places.
Some of the screen-names we have found include: Penn's Woods/salvagedtimber, pennzwoodz, 1WilddStorm,salvagedtimber, and it appears there is a possibility we can add two more names to this list- knifehandles and bookmatching.
In my last entry, I began enlarging my search, as I was finding no new information for the screen-names already identified. I had turned my search towards the makers of such quality products as wood knifehandles, gunstocks, and poolcues. This is when I found the seller "knifehandles" in Knife Auctions. Since then I have expounded my search and now have more information for you.

I was not finding much information so I decided to re-track my steps. I googled the email addresses listed as belonging to Mr. Fourness. Under cherryburls@yahoo.com I found a new screen-name- Bookmatching or Book Matching.
1.)Google Search> cherryburls@yahoo.com > Guitar World- Forums (7th entry)
This entry shows that the person owning cherryburls@yahoo.com still lives in Pennsylvania, and is going by the screen-name of Book Matching.
2.)Google search> cherryburls@yahoo.com> (9th entry) 2 Prs BM Spalt Figured Sugar Maple Panels- Jemsite
In this entry the name is spelled slightly different, no space between Book and Matching, and it is written in all small letters, no caps (bookmatching). But it does appear that this version of the screen name also belongs to the owner of cherryburls@yahoo.com.

So, to recap our recent findings, we have found that the personal decriptions between knifehandles(@yahoo.com) and Book Matching or bookmatching (using the cherryburls@yahoo.com address) are similiar to eachother, as well as to older screen names used by Mr. William Fourness aka Penn's Woods/ Salvagedtimber. It has been stated that this seller has in the past used other screen-names (penturners.org- Question regarding Salvagedtimber".) We find that an already identified email address is being used, and perhaps a new one. We found that this seller could possibly be using Ebay and Ebay stores, he could have online stores, as well as possible numerous Id's and Screen names.
